Several exhibitor’s unveiled new products or services while others showed technology upgrades to exhibiting products. From inflatable lights to improved lubricants, from safety devices to IT services – it was all on display in Louisville.

2006 was the kick-off year for the Cyber Café sponsored by RSSI for all attendees. This area, where attendees were encouraged to either use the desktop units provided or to connect to one of the many access cables that were available, was busy all day and well into the evening – many folks couldn’t believe the quality of the services that was provided – and the cost to the attendees – ZERO!

RSSI also provided a booth were the attendees learned about railHOUND. The new search engine on the RSSI website where only RSSI member companies are included in the results. This helps the customer avoid a typical Google search that might bring up thousands of non-railroad specific uses of the words. The initial response has been very positive! This service, like the C&S Buyers Guide, is offered complimentary to RSSI member companies.
